Win Free Xbox Games Promotion Official Rules No Purchase Required to Enter or Win 1. Eligibility: The Win Free Xbox Games Promotion (the “Promotion”) is open only to legal residents of Canada (excluding Quebec), the United Kingdom, and the United States who are Facebook members and are thirteen (13) years of age or older. Developers of the application or other companies associated with the Promotion, as well as the immediate family (spouse, parents, siblings, and children) and household members of each such developer are not eligible. The Promotion is subject to federal, state, provincial, and local laws and regulations and is void in Puerto Rico, Quebec, and where prohibited. 2. Sponsor: The Promotion is sponsored by Colin Kierans, Kamloops BC, Canada. 3. Agreement to Official Rules: Participation in the Promotion constitutes entrant’s full and unconditional agreement to and acceptance of these Official Rules and the decisions of the Sponsor, which are final and binding. Winning a prize is contingent upon fulfilling all requirements set forth herein. 4. Promotion Period: The Promotion may continue until such time as the Sponsor decides to terminate the Promotion (the “Promotion Period”). There will be a drawing each week of the Promotion Period. For purposes of these Official Rules, a week begins at 3:00:00 p.m. PST and ends at 2:59:59 p.m. PST. The duration of a week for the purposes of this Promotion is subject to change without notification. 5. How to Play: To enter, you must first add the free Win Free Xbox Games Facebook application (the “Application”) to your Facebook account. Every ticket (each, a “Ticket”) you get through the Application will give you another chance to win the Prize. There are four (4) ways to get Tickets: 1. Free Daily Ticket: You can get one (1) Ticket each day by accessing the Application. 2. Send Invitations: For every invitation you send to a unique friend, you will receive one (1) additional ticket, up to a maximum of twenty (20) tickets per day. 3. Send Tickets: For every ticket you send to a friend, you will receive one (1) additional ticket, up to a maximum of thirty (30) tickets per day. 4. Recruit Friend: For every friend you recruit to the Application you will receive one additional ticket. There are 4 ways to recruit friends. i. Invitations: Tickets awarded if a friend joins from an invitation you send them. ii. Sent tickets: Tickets awarded if a friend joins because of the notification they received from you sending them a ticket. iii. Profile: Tickets awarded if a friend joins because they added the Application through your profile page. iv. Referral link: Tickets award if a friend joins through the referral link that is on the home page of the Application. 5. Complete offers: The Ticket Master page has several offers that can be completed to get you more tickets. The Sponsor is not responsible for any of the content found in these offers, nor is the Sponsor responsible for the alocation of tickets from completing these offers. The Sponsor makes no guarantee that Tickets will be awarded by completing these offers. Tickets are only valid for the week they were attained in. 6. Selection of Potential Winners: At the end of each week the Sponsor will select one random ticket. The owner of that ticket is the winner if they are eligible and meet all requirements. Additionally the person with the most tickets will receive a copy of the same prize. The person with the most tickets cannot also win the random drawing. 7. Requirements of Potential Winners: A potential winner may be required to complete and return an affidavit (or, in the UK, a certificate) of eligibility and liability/publicity release within seven (7) days of being notified. If a potential winner fails to sign and return these documents within the required time period, he/she will be disqualified and an alternate entrant may be selected in his/her place in a random drawing of all entries received. If a potential winner is a resident of Canada, he/she will be required to correctly answer a time-limited mathematical skill testing question without any assistance in order to receive a prize. If a potential winner is a minor in his/her state or territory of residence, his/her parent or legal guardian will be required to fulfill the requirements set forth herein on the potential winner’s behalf. 8. Prizes: The winner is given a new, unused copy of the game they have one in the draw. Prizes will be sent to winners within thirty (30) days of verification. Any prize details not specified above will be determined by the Sponsor in its sole discretion. Prizes are not transferable or refundable and must be accepted as awarded. No cash or other substitution may be made, except by the Sponsor, who reserves the right to substitute a prize with another prize of equal or greater value if the prize is not available for any reason as determined by the Sponsor in its sole discretion. The winner is responsible for any and all other costs and expenses not listed above. Prizes may be reported as income to a winner and the winner will be responsible for all taxes associated with the receipt of a prize. 9. Privacy and Publicity: By entering, you authorize the use of your personal data in the United States for purposes of administration of the Promotion. 10. General Conditions: In the event that the operation, security, or administration of the Promotion is impaired in any way for any reason, including, but not limited to fraud, virus, or other technical problem, the Sponsor may, in its sole discretion, either (a) suspend the Promotion to address the impairment and then resume the Promotion in a manner that best conforms to the spirit of these Official Rules or (b) award the prizes at random from among the eligible entries received up to the time of the impairment. The Sponsor reserves the right in its sole discretion to disqualify any individual it finds to be tampering with the entry process or the operation of the Promotion or to be acting in violation of these Official Rules or in an unsportsmanlike or disruptive manner. Any attempt by any person to undermine the legitimate operation of the Promotion may be a violation of criminal and civil law, and, should such an attempt be made, the Sponsor reserves the right to seek damages from any such person to the fullest extent permitted by law. Failure by the Sponsor to enforce any provision of these Official Rules shall not constitute a waiver of that provision. In the event of a dispute as to any online entry, the authorized account holder of the e-mail address used to enter will be deemed to be the participant. The “authorized account holder” is the natural person who is assigned to an e-mail address by an Internet access provider, online service provider, or other organization responsible for assigning e-mail addresses for the domain associated with the submitted e-mail address. 11. Release and Limitations of Liability: Except where prohibited, by participating in the Promotion, entrants agree to release and hold harmless the Sponsor, its officers, directors, employees, and agents (the “Released Parties”) from and against any claim or cause of action arising out of participation in the Promotion or receipt or use of any prize, including, but not limited to: (a) any technical errors that may impair the promotion; (b) unauthorized human intervention in the Promotion; (c) printing errors; (d) lost, late, postage-due, misdirected, or undeliverable mail; (e) errors in the administration of the Promotion or the processing of entries; or (f) injury, death, or damage to persons or property which may be caused, directly or indirectly, in whole or in part, from entrant’s participation in the Promotion or receipt of any prize. Entrant further agrees that in any cause of action, the Released Parties’ liability will be limited to the cost of entering and participating in the Promotion, and in no event shall the Released Parties be liable for attorney’s fees.
